General Purpose of Job

Drive, deliver, set up, and pick up corporate orders in a timely and efficient manner. Pack and prepare event’s equipment, food, and beverage. Ensure cleanliness of all vehicles used by employee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots’ handbook and policies
2. Maintain safety and organization in the warehouse
3. Responsible for company credit card and turning in all receipts when the card is used
4. Read and understand all banquet event orders
5. Organize, clean and stock warehouse items
6. Stay on task and work effectively
7. Set up and pick up corporate orders
8. Run items at any given time throughout shift
9. Ensure that all items on banquet event order are obtained and check off all orders in the kitchen
10. Organize the corporate area each day at end of shift
11. Fill out pick up logs at end of shift
12. Check in and out vehicles
13. Alert manager of any damages
14. Take mandatory 30 minute lunch break when working anything over 6 hours or notify supervisor
15. Inspect and maintain vehicles, adding fuel as needed.

7. Must possess a current California Food Handler’s card. 
8. Must be at least 21 years of age to become a driver. 

Education and/or Experience

1. No prior experience or training required
2. Reliable transportation and clean driving record required
3. ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.

Language Skills

1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
2. Ability to write simple correspondence
3. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
4. Ability to speak and understand English.

Mathematical Skills

1. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

Reasoning Ability

1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
2. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but there will be cases where the noise level is loud.
3. This position occasionally requires flexibility to start shift earlier and end shift later on little to no notice.
4. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work off site.
